Ashley is the driving force behind MR & Associates, bringing deep local roots and nearly a decade of financial leadership to the Columbus community. Having lived most of her life right here in Columbus, Indiana, Ashley is a proud 2010 graduate of Columbus North High School. Her commitment to the area runs deep, and she has dedicated her career to helping neighboring businesses thrive. Ashley joined MR & Associates seven years ago, quickly becoming a foundational part of the team. After serving as a partner for four years, she proudly stepped into her current role as the sole owner of the firm.
Ashley holds an Associate Degree in Accounting from Ivy Tech Community College, alongside technical certificates in business and accounting. Her dedication to excellence and local impact was recognized by her alma mater when she was honored with the prestigious Distinguished Alumni Award from the Ivy Tech Columbus campus. As a Certified QuickBooks Online (QBO) ProAdvisor, she blends modern cloud-accounting expertise with practical financial strategies. Today, she specializes in high-level business consulting and strategic tax planning, helping local entrepreneurs streamline their operations and maximize profitability.
When she isn’t partnering with clients to grow their businesses, Ashley enjoys embracing country life just outside the city center, where she raises her own flock of chickens and turkeys.
Maggie is the cornerstone of the tax department at MR & Associates, serving as the firm’s resident Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and bringing over a decade of deeply trusted tax compliance and accounting experience to the Columbus, IN community. As Tax Manager, she guides our daily tax operations, ensuring federal, state, and local filings are handled with absolute accuracy. Maggie specializes in navigating complex tax codes, helping individuals and small businesses optimize their returns while maintaining strict compliance.
Her foundational leadership extends far beyond compliance. Having built her career on a disciplined, service-first foundation rooted in her military background, Maggie brings unparalleled precision and integrity to every client engagement. Alongside her CPA credential and formal degree in accounting, she is a Certified QuickBooks Online (QBO) ProAdvisor, blending institutional technical mastery with modern, cloud-based financial strategies.
As a long-term mentor to our owner, Ashley, Maggie has spent years fostering the culture of excellence and deep financial strategy that defines the company today. Her collaborative spirit transforms complex tax hurdles into clear, stress-free paths forward for local business owners and families alike. When she isn’t actively navigating shifting tax codes, Maggie is dedicated to giving back to the community, lending her spare time to volunteer for financial literacy programs right here in Columbus.
